This is precisely where OneSource Virtual (OSV) brings its expertise to the table.
As a proven and certified Workday Services Partner, OSV’s team of Workday strategists and consultants provides complete support to organizations that are looking to optimize Workday software. From initial design, to building, testing, and going live with a new deployment, OSV has it covered. OSV offers strategic services that include initial implementation, training, pre-and post-deployment consulting, and a whole suite of business process as a service (BPaaS) solutions. BPaaS is transaction-based delivery that is comprised of in-application finance and accounting services, payroll, benefits administration, and application management services (AMS).
In an exclusive interview with CIOApplications, Trey Campbell, CEO of OneSource Virtual, reveals several insights about his organization’s services that help customers efficiently navigate a wide variety of business issues pertaining to human resources and finance.
In your interactions with CIOs of leading companies, what sense do you get of the challenges they face now in the HR technology solution space, and how is OneSource Virtual effectively addressing these issues?
Unlike other competitors, we look at an organization’s pain points from a holistic lifecycle standpoint. As an ardent user of Workday software ourselves, we understand that any time a client shifts to a new ERP platform it can be a daunting endeavor. In view of that, our team of experts invests a great amount of time in the deployment process. We begin with an analysis of the customer’s IT environment, understanding their objectives, and subsequently deliver solutions that are scalable and sustainable. In the case of payroll, OSV also gives customers the option to run their payroll processes either weekly or monthly depending on their needs. We also conduct historical analyses and holistic assessments to enhance operational efficiencies. The ultimate goal of our company is to transform human resources and finance from support organizations to business enablers and strategic partners.
Please elaborate on the solutions that OSV offers in the HR space and how you help organizations increase productivity.
Being early adopters and advocates of Workday, our teams have gained incredible functional knowledge and technical know-how related to how best to implement and use the software. Our role is to facilitate the seamless implementation of the Workday platform and enable organizations to gain clear-cut visibility of their employee data, time tracking, procurement, expense management, and financial accounting, including payroll system management.

Even today, there are many clients that are saddled with antiquated and siloed HR systems that manage processes, people, and their related tasks, and these legacy platforms often lead to manual errors. OSV’s BPaaS model overcomes this challenge by automating the entire human capital management process. Through OSV’s effective guidance, organizations can manage, incentivize, and retain employees. They can also define an employee’s performance expectations, develop effective reward strategies, and plan employee and organizational growth.
OSV has been widely recognized as an automation leader in the service provider industry. We’ve always been trailblazers, and have no aging legacy IT outsourcing business or resources to protect. We think outside the box and innovate entirely new service capabilities at attractive price points. OSV was founded on the principle of innovation from its inception, and today we can point to our own patented technology, proprietary tools, and hundreds of automations that allow us to deliver better and faster service to our customers.
Alongside automating HR and financial operations, OSV’s Workday services also extend to data analytics. By utilizing real-time and in-memory data, we ensure that critical information is always accurate and visible in realtime. We also offer effective dashboards, customized and designed for customer needs. These tools display relevant data in order to provide the right information to the managers enabling them to take immediate action within HCM processes and deploy predictive models to plan strategies regarding company turnovers. This helps enterprises to achieve a higher ROI and lower Total Cost of Ownership.
What does the future hold for OneSource Virtual? Any footprint expansion plans or platform enhancement strategies that you can shed light upon?
We have assisted thousands of organizations across many industries to completely harness the potential of Workday’s services. Along the path of global expansion, we are continuing to increase our footprint across the world with more offices in the U.S., Canada, the UK and Europe. Having over a decade of experience in offering BPaaS and consulting services, OSV has won several awards and has been recognized both for our services as well as our technical expertise. Building on our existing services and strong history in automation, OneSource Virtual aims to take the next great leap into robotics in 2019.
We are bringing to market the next generation of RPA via Robotic Process as a Service (RPaaS), which removes most obstacles (cost, time commitment, deployment support, ill-fitting solutions) that have prevented companies from faster adoption of RPA solutions until now. At its core, RPaaS is simply the offering of a service that uses machines to do repeatable business tasks. Robots perform a sequence of standardized tasks through configuration that mimics the process steps a person would do to perform the repetitive process steps.
OSV’s latest robotic process automation that handles repetitive business processes marks a digital transformation initiative for HR and financial operations. We leverage a highly scalable and secure robotic process automation platform to provide cognitive technologies that are well suited to high-demand and fewer resource environments. The new OSV RPaaS solution provides end-to-end, rules-based automated processes that require no monitoring and can be controlled via a dashboard for better outcomes, exceptions, and priority re-setting.
The terms “digital workforce” and “digital assistant” are emerging to explain the work performed by a robot and how they are intended to support the human worker, not replace them. Like humans, these digital assistants perform one task at a time. Unlike humans, these digital assistants work efficiently, error-free and around the clock. Our BPaaS solutions will continue to relieve our customers of a growing number of business processes, saving our customers time, effort, and costs. Adding RPaaS solutions will relieve our customers of performing any number of repeatable tasks or audits, increasing their employee satisfaction and retention while saving their company time, effort, and costs.
A pioneer in business process automation, OSV has taken a leadership role in providing automation industry “firsts” for more than 10 years. Our new RPaaS capability will go to market in 2019, providing a digital workforce to help organizations more efficiently navigate a wide variety of business issues in human resources and finance departments.
An automation company partners with a BPaaS solutions company to form a RPaaS platform, as an extension for ERP systems in order to enhance the quality and efficiency of HR and Finance Departments.
FREMONT, CA: For the provision of efficient navigation through various business issues in Human Resources (HR) and finance departments, the usage of cloud-based robotic process tasks was beta tested. A globally-renowned robotic process automation (RPA) solutions, Automation Anywhere, and OneSource Virtual (OSV) a BPaaS enterprise, have signed a partnership to provide intelligent Robotic process-as-a-service (RPaaS) solutions in finance and HR. The new offering by OSV also includes a brand new digital workforce service, which expands the capacities of enterprise resource planning (ERP).
